Queens, New York– On Friday, June 7, teachers within the Diocese of Brooklyn were celebrated and recognized for their years of nurturing and nourishment at the Immaculate Conception Center in Douglaston.

The Office of the Superintendent~ Catholic School Support Services along with Bishop James Massa, recognized those teachers who are retiring and those who are celebrating anniversary milestones for the gift of their ministry in the academies and parish schools.

Teachers perform the miracle of touching hears, nurturing souls, sparking minds and shaping lives.

Thank you and congratulations to those celebrating milestones in the mission and ministry of Catholic education within the Diocese of Brooklyn.
