Catholic school students in Bushwick started the year with a clean slate Tuesday after their building was blessed by an auxiliary bishop.
Some of the young learners at St. Brigid-St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Academy say they started school last week, but now feel they can start their studies on a good note.
The school also features a new stem lab that will allow students to conduct various science experiments. Auxiliary Bishop James Massa, the vicar for education, says it will allow a fair balance for students to learn about religion and science.
The auditorium was also renovated and the playground is new, all blessed by the bishop, so that students can have a promising school year.
