Financial Topics

  • Closing schools will refund any 2024-25 fees that have already been paid to the school.
  • Registration fees will be waived for students from a closing school applying to a new Catholic School in Brooklyn and Queens, in most cases. Fees are set locally, contact your school of choice for details.
  • Scholarships received from Futures in Education or Childrens Scholarship Fund are transferable to a new Catholic Academy in Brooklyn or Queens. Additional detail:

What to expect at a new Catholic Academy

  • Keeping Students together: Where possible, incoming students from the same previous school can be placed in the same cohort/homeroom.
  • IESP/Service plans: All schools are committed to supporting students with IESP’s and Service Plans. Specific details should be discussed at registration with the principal of the new school.
